The organising committee of the Dubai 2025 Asian Youth Para Games unveiled its logo during the APC Conference and General Assembly, marking an exciting milestone on the road to one of the region’s most inclusive sporting events.
The newly launched logo, which incorporates four key elements, captures the vibrant spirit of Para sport while reflecting Dubai’s rich cultural identity as the proud host city.
Each element of the design carries a special meaning:
• Dubai: The host city, representing innovation and inclusivity.
• Flame: Symbolizing movement, passion, and energy – qualities that define both youth and sport.
• Athlete & Wheelchair Motion Icon: Representing Para athletes in action and the dynamic spirit of youth.
• Palm Jumeirah: A globally recognized Dubai landmark, reinforcing the local identity with elegance and modernity.
Meanwhile, the slogan Born to Rise was also unveiled at the event – the slogan captures the spirit, determination, and resilience of young para-athletes across Asia. Majid Rashed, Asian Paralympic President shared his excitement:“This marks a major milestone for the Asian Paralympic Family. The Asian Youth Para Games are a celebration of resilience, talent, and determination, and our athletes remain at the heart of our mission. This announcement also provides clarity for all participants as they prepare for the Games.”
“We sincerely thank the local organisers for their dedication and commitment in preparing to host the Games for a second time. The Asian Youth Para Games play a vital role in advancing the APC’s mission of youth empowerment, and we are thrilled to see the progress toward what promises to be another spectacular edition in Dubai.
“We are confident that Dubai, with its strong focus on accessibility and innovation, will provide the perfect stage for Asia’s young Para athletes to shine,” Rashed added.
Thani Juma Berregad, Chairman of Dubai Club for People of Determination and the local organisers for the Games, said in a video message:

Despite the challenges we faced due to time constraints, our deep belief in the purpose of these Championships and the role they play in shaping young talents gave us the motivation to turn this challenge into an opportunity. “Hosting these Championships in Dubai was not merely a decision, but a commitment of humanity and moral responsibility. Guided by the UAE’s leadership and their faith that People of Determination are true partners in development and a source of inspiration in every field, we worked tirelessly to ensure make participants feel at home.
“Dubai, as always, welcomes everyone with open arms. We hope the Championships provide an unforgettable experience, highlighting the power of human spirit through excellent venues, seamless organisation, and a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
“This event will serve as a stage to build hope, reaffirm abilities, and promote fair competition among ambitious youth who are the future of our Movement. We thank the APC for trusting us to support this noble cause and promise that these Championships will be a source of pride for us and for all.” The Dubai 2025 Asian Youth Para Games will bring together around 1500 young Para athletes from 45 nations across Asia, competing in 11 sports from 7 to 14 December.
