Blind Football makes a welcome return to the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou having last featured in 2014.

At the Incheon Games, it was Iran who beat Japan in the final, with China taking the bronze medal. But it is the host nation who come into these games as the favourites, having been runners up in the 2023 World Championships held in the UK in August, narrowly missing out on the gold medal after losing 2-1 on penalties.

China also have a better track record at the most recent Paralympic Games, coming fourth in Tokyo.

Six nations, China, India, Iran, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand will compete for the honour of being Asian Para Games champions at the Gongshu Canal Sports Park Stadium with matches getting underway on Monday 23rd October and concluding on Saturday 28th October.
