The torch has officially been passed to Dubai as the next proud host of the 5th Asian Youth Para Games (AYPG), following the formal signing of the Host City Agreement between the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) and the Dubai Club for People of Determination, the body spearheading local preparations. This marks Dubai’s second time hosting the AYPG, having successfully staged the Games in 2017.

The signing is a symbolic and strategic milestone for the Games that will take place under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, whose commitment to inclusive sport continues to shape the emirate’s global legacy.

APC President Majid Rashed and Thani Juma Berregad, Chairman of the Dubai Club for People of Determination, put pen to paper on behalf of their respective organizations sealing not just an agreement, but a shared vision of empowerment, excellence, and unity across Asia.
