The Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games Organising Committee (AINAGOC) successfully hosted a key webinar for National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) across Asia, as preparations continue to build towards the Games with just 207 days remaining.
The webinar brought together more than 200 representatives from NPCs from across the region, AINAGOC and Asian Paralympic Committee (APC), providing comprehensive updates and detailed presentations designed to offer valuable insights into the planning and delivery of the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games.
Through a series of presentations, AINAGOC outlined key operational areas including sport, accommodation, transport and logistics, arrival and departure, medical services, doping control, and APC Family Services ensuring NPCs are aligned, informed, and well-prepared for the Games.
APC President Majid Rashed said: “I would like to sincerely thank the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games Organising Committee for hosting this important webinar and for providing valuable insights into the preparations for the Games. As we approach Aichi-Nagoya 2026, we are encouraged by the strong progress and unwavering commitment shown by AINAGOC in delivering a successful and memorable Games for all.”
APC Chief Executive Officer Tarek Souei, who addressed the participants at the webinar, highlighting the growing momentum towards Aichi-Nagoya 2026.

“With almost 200 days to go, the anticipation is growing, and so is our shared commitment to deliver an exceptional Games that reflects the unity, strength, and progress of the Paralympic Movement across Asia,” said Souei.
The webinar served as an important platform for engagement, enabling NPCs to gain a clearer understanding of Games-time operations and readiness.
The AINAGOC, meanwhile, reaffirmed its commitment to delivering high-quality sporting competitions that provide a fair and inspiring platform for athletes, while also ensuring that accommodation arrangements are accessible, comfortable, and athlete centred.

Detailed updates on transportation and logistics highlighted the focus on seamless operations, supporting delegations from arrival through to daily venue movements and departure. Medical services and anti-doping programmes were also presented, underlining the priority placed on athlete health, safety, and the integrity of competition.
In collaboration with the APC, the AINAGOC said it will continue to support NPCs through coordinated services and ongoing communication in the lead-up to the Games.
Souei concluded by recognising the vital role of NPCs in preparing athletes for success.
“I would also like to commend all NPCs for your outstanding work in providing athletes with the infrastructure, training facilities, and opportunities to succeed. Your efforts are the foundation of their achievements and inspiration.”
The webinar session was followed by a Q&A session, allowing all attendees to interact with the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Organising Committee. The 5th Asian Para Games will take place in Aichi Prefecture, including the host city of Nagoya, from 18 to 24 October 2026, with athletes from 45 NPCs competing in 18 sports across 502 events at 19 venues.
