These days Iranian universities are hosting I.R. Iran NPC instructors to make the students familiar with Paralympic Movement.
Based on the operational calendar of I.R. Iran NPC Education Dept., the NPC decided to set a plan to make familiar the university students especially those studying in Physical Education , with Paralympic Movement background and programs through conducting a series of workshops throughout different universities in Iran.
By the way, experienced instructors equipped with educational video clips and pamphlets have been dispatched throughout Iranian cities to teach in universities. These workshops highly welcomed by attendees, even so many requests received by NPC to continue these programs.
National Paralympic Day, philosophy behind this day, activities done and future plans to introduce IOSDs, Para sports introductions were among the educational topics. At the end of each session, instructors answer to all questions.
To date, six cities and totally sixteen universities have lodged Paralympic movement educational workshops.
