The Asian Paralympic Committee in association with Emirates Red Crescent kicked off its Ramadan project sending 41 food packages to Kyrgyzstan NPC in Bishkek.
This is the first project since a MoU was signed between the two organizations in October 2020, to work closely together to improve the lives of people with an impairment across Asia.
APC Corporate Relations Manager Eisa Alali, who was in charge of the Ramadan project, has said that more initiatives are in the pipeline including one to providing emergency health support to NPCs across Asia.
The upcoming project will also include the donation of wheelchairs and other equipment to the NPCs.
“We want to thank Emirates Red Crescent for initiating the Ramadan Project. We are looking forward to work with them in several upcoming projects, offering support to NPCs on various issues across Asia,” said Alali adding that both the organisations plan to visit several regions across Asia and work on environmental and health projects.
“We hope we can improve the lives of as many people as we can through various projects,” he added.
